you have texas congressman collin allred rung against senator ted cruz. there's a lot of optimism that democrats will finally succeed in wing statewide in the. louis: star state. do you share that optimism and what is the dncc doing to fuel that on the mitchell? >> we're investing money on collin allred. he's a phenomenal candidate. he knows how to connect with people in a very real way. he beat a long-time incumbent, pete sessions in the suburbs of dallas. he has the temperament, knows the issues inside and out and he has a background that people relate to in texas. he's a former professional football player and a star football player at the university of baylor in texas. i would say don't undersnap a successful football clear in the bello of somebody in texas and he's rung against an incumbent who is not very popular. his numbers are weaker now than the last time he won re-election. he only won by a couple of votes or so and now he's only weaker and he's running against a very strong democratic candidate. we've been putting money in and he's also raced
