low 80s along the eastern plains, 50s and 60s in tele-ride where they are having a lot of fun -- telluride where they are having a lot of fun. there. the wind out of the south are at 13 miles an hour. here at the 9backyard we are watching temperatures in they have been stating -- is staying steady in the 50s. it has been calm for the majority of colorado today. we had a line of severe thunderstorms fire up along the eastern plains at about 2:00 or 3:00. they have now moved into nebraska and kansas and things good this evening, 49 mostly clear skies. after midnight it will be a little breezy still, coming out of the north rest -- northwest. 40s and 50s for the eastern side of the say, 30s mainly in the mountains. it will be a cool one. another warm one tomorrow as the high pressure still is sitting in place across the west. this will help keep us warm and bring us that northwesterly flow and help kick the winds up a little bit. i'm going to show you two futurecast. you won't really see much. we kick off the day with us a few clouds everyone else, lows of sunshine. a couple of passing clouds

this morning there's a little bit of cloud cover in telluride. on the big picture, a real strong closed low is developing around salt lake city here scooting in over northern colorado and up into wyoming bringing in a cold front later tonight and dramatically changing temperatures tomorrow. as it comes through today rain and snow developing in the mountains at 1:00 this afternoon. 11,000 feet in some locations and it might lower to ten overnight tonight. for us late showers and thunderstorms developing and might continue into the evening. could have severe storms in north eastern colorado and we'll watch for that. we'll see the contrast in temperatures. heat to the east and cool in the mountains. 82 degrees in denver with isolated storms this afternoon and wind and there's the change coming in for the weekend. upper 60s for saturday and sunday and slight chance of saturday and then we warm it up a bit on monday and tuesday. but joel, i'll tell you, it's a shocker once that front arrives tonight for many. >> it's a good reminder. not cold enough f
