(mark) breaking news... an army blackhawk helicopter has gone down off the coast of hawaii. the coast guard is reporting that the chopper went down in the water off the coast of oahu. five people were on the helicopter. all five crew members are missing this morning. the coast guard has found a debris field. they received the call about the downed helicopter around 10:00 last night-- hawaii time. the black hawk was reportedly conducting training exercises when it lost communication. we will continue to keep you updated on the search efforts... right here on the kron 4 morning news.
