temps are on their way up, especially as we head towards the weekend.but let's go back and take a look. this looks like the last rain snow of february, so we'll go back and take a look at some of the numbers on the sierra snow. now remember, january was grim. we only had a little bit of rain. they hardly had any snow at all. but the february totals are coming in quite well here. palisades. almost 100in of snow this month. sugar bowl 95. boreal 86 sierra snow lab. soda springs 82. northstar. kirkwood, bear valley and heavenly. all between 50 and 78in of february snow. so that puts the percent of normal 120% northern sierra tahoe's in the central. that's 90 and even the southern now up to 76. so statewide average 94%. we can eek out a nice march and finish at 100% or higher. that would be back to back to back winters of above average snowfall. that has not happened since the early 80s. the rain yesterday wasn't much. south side of mount tamalpais had the most that i saw. 16 100 mount diablo, calistoga, la honda a 10th of an inch or a little bit above that

so we are quite lucky to have these temps right now in california. you can see some nice 60's across the coast here and then some 50's as we head inland, but really quite mild out there today. and above average for us average should be about low 60's and considered 62 already in san jose. we're not even at the heat of the day at right, 64 in san francisco and as we head to the north bay sonoma right now, just it's 67 degrees. same story in sandra fell. so we are off to the races as we start to see this high pressure build in and this ridge, it's just a really good timing for us that we get this break. as we zoom in here, you can see that that ridge also creates blue skies. and that's what we're seeing today is that the high pressure starts to keep any of that. no cloud cover or away from us and certainly can see that as we take a live look from the east bay. just beautiful out there today. and as temperatures go, we're just starting this warm up. it's going to roll all the way through this week into next weekend. even the beginning of next week. we'r
