. >>> police are investigating an attempted robbery that targeted a temple university student. >> lets go live to north philadelphia and jennifer joyce near temple campus with the very latest on this. good morning, jennifer. >> reporter: that is right we are on the fringe of the temple university campus at sydenham street and susquehanna avenue. this is the furthest point north where temple university security will patrol. that was only part of the expanded coverage as of last fall. so this area is patrolled now by temple and a a spokesperson tells us it was around 1:00 o'clock this morning when there was an attempted robbery of a student inn identify this area a tu a alert went out on twitter. police tell us that this student was not hurt and that nothing was taken from the student but however it is a concern and being investigated. so again as of last fall there was an expanded coverage zone and that includes this area to better serve 13,000 students live honor near campus. still no word on a potential suspects but apparently these two men who were armed approached the student, again
