a rip current pulled her away from tennessee valley beach on the marin county coast. the tide was coming in as rescue workers hurried to hoist the girl off the beach. this happened around 6:00 last night. a good samaritan got her out. she was unconscious by the time rescue workers got to her. the rising tide had stranded the three behind a large rock. they got into trouble when they tried to get back to the main beach. >> it got so late with the high tide. when they tried to walk back, they didn't time it enough and the wave came in and just swept them out. and that's basically what happened. they didn't have time to get back around to the other side. >> the our two teenagers were also lifted off the beach by helicopter. they are reportedly in stable condition at marin general hospital. >>> university of california regents are set to vote today on another tuition increase. the 9.6% hike would go into effect this fall and would be in addition to an 8% increase already approved. protests are expected outside today's meeting in san francisco. uc officials say the increase
