teresa kenny. very good to have you. there was no heads-up for you no, warning that migrants were coming and you had to deal with them, right? >> thanks for having me. yeah, i'd like to describe it as a sneak attack. it's very intentional. i got a call from mayor adams friday afternoon to say that they were implementing this new program that they would be sending migrants to hotels around the state. they had a location but -- within hours there was a local hotel that had hunts of mattresses outside and a plan to sort of start housing migrants in one of our local hotels. >> neil: you'll be appearing in court monday to try to get this restraining order to prevent this from happening. it's an uphill battle, right? the mayor and others are dealing with this. they're overwhelmed. they want you to share. you're not a sanctuary town. why is it on you to do something? >> we actually ran to the court on tuesday. we got a call the buses were coming wednesday. we anticipated this would happen. we ran to court, this is a zoning issu

. >> joining me now is teresa kenny, a supervisor for orange town, new york in rockland county.so much for joining me this evening. i'm going to ask first about what we just heard from the county executive and day, saying that the mayor's human trafficking. that is a very loaded term, it is also a crime that involves coercion and beyond. is that exactly what he meant? do you agree with that? >> i can't speak for the county executive. what i can say is that he has grave concerns that in a county where we have approximately 70 homeless individuals now, that bringing out 340. and that's just for a start, they ultimately need us overwhelmed, and basically saying they're being dropped off, the basically left. i will not ever attempt to speak to a day, he's very capable of speaking for himself. >> i should say, adams offices very explicit, saying they won't be dropped off, that they will provide food and shelter for the migrants. it will be paid for, and that when you talk about the numbers, it is a quarter of 1% of the migrants currently in new york city. what is your response? >> so
