( james ) that richmond police officer is recovering this morning after being hit by a car while trying to stop one of those sideshows. and police are still looking for the driver who hit the officer. it happened early yesterday morning near marina bay parkway and reggatta boulevard. police say the driver then accelerated to hit the officer. the officer suffered broken bones and cuts to his head...but is expected to recover. this is being investigated as a hit-and run. police have not released a description of the driver or the car.
