(terisa estacio reporting) it was around 11am when pacifica police sprang into action.. responding to terra nova high school that a student had reported seeing a threatening message. (take vo)some parents went to the high school after receiving a text alert about the situation. police say, specifically, the message posted on a social media site said there would be a shooting that would occur at terra nova high school at noon on may 18. school officials say they followed a strict protocol for these type of potentially dangerous situations. they contacted authorities and informed parents. i spoke with the superintendent of the school district about the threat, the response and a very upset parent. terry deloria, superintendent, jefferson union high school district. we did several steps. we were concerned for everyone's safety. we contacted law enforcement, they put us into school campus mode. not able to say it was a real threat so they advised to stay in secure mode till school let out
