commissioner terman: rather than reporting on the meaning i thought i would take the of rigidity. supervisor campos held a meeting on improving police interaction. specifically it was a meeting in which a trainer, someone who has done a great deal of work, she is now to certain members of the commission. one moment. i'm sorry, one moment. >> her name is lisa deerow -- thororeau. there are toher -- other leaders. different supervisors themselves to talk about a training program for policing the teen brain and schools. some of the things that were addressed, some cultural competencies' along with dealing with youth and developing this competencies' -- those competencies. and how police officers need to take in policing youth. i was pleased to see members of the department there and in particular the sro's were there. it was a training program. i believe there is some interest in implementing -- we will say that there were not specifics on costs which is something i am concerned about. there were good -- good ideas. did you have other aspect you wanted to share? >> there was an outsi

commissioner terman: a couple thoughts. on the wording. i would like to hear from the commission secretary. is it feasible for to schedule a community meeting on the fourth wednesday of each month? i know there is a lot of time and a lot of activity that goes into putting together a community meeting. if we're going to have a bylaw or rule that says that is what we will do every wednesday, i want to know. is that something we can do every fourth wednesday? >> typically we can. we adopt a schedule of meetings going forward and we're able to have enough lead time to work with a captain of the district or neighborhood where we're going to me. we have time to find a location and the logistics' and we have to notice of meeting like that 15 days in advance. we did it successfully. >> occasionally something unforeseen would come up and we would have to cancel. not because of a thing happened on the commission and. >> it is feasible and we can do it. i am thinking there is a lot of work that we do need to do. policy wise and developmentally for th
