we're at the american terminal. i walked all the way down the length of the terminal looking through the windows to see if we could see the plane. the snow is coming down so heavily that you can't see much of the runways all the way down to the end of the terminals. it's all the way on the ground, not the oceanside or the bay side of laguardia, but on the ground side where this plane has gotten stuck in the snow. there is a wing broken and we understand through some folks on the ground there may be a few injuries, nothing serious, though, it sounds like, fortunately enough. we are staying on top of it. we have another crew that will see if they get a better eye on what is happening over there. there are some emergency vehicles there around the la guard yeah airport, not clear if they were connected to that plane. certainly everybody at the airport is on higher alert now that this has happened. about a third of the flights today canceled out of laguardia. this will certainly snarl things even more. >> miguel, again,

i'm outside terminal 2 and this is the terminal from which that airline departed. minute by minute more family members are starting to arrive. at the end of the terminal is where a crisis center has been set up. involved in that the spanish aviation authorities, representatives of the airline and also members of spain's emergency services. we've seen psychologists go in there, for example, on hand to receive some of the relatives who are starting to arrive. i've seen at least six or seven groups of people arriving speaking spanish as they come through a set of automatic barriers and some of them hugging one another, others crying. none of them so far offering any comment and of course for respect of the families right now, we're not pushing anybody for comments. in terms of anything new from the airline representatives, it's being handled thoroughly from the german end here in spain at the terminal 2 in barcelona. airline authorities offering printed statements but certainly nothing new in those printed statements that we don't already know. as i say as minutes go
