i'm terry mcsweeney. san leandro police are looking for a suspect in the murder of a 15-year-old girl. this morning police have identified the primary suspect as 19-year-old henry leon who was involved with a relationship with the victim and is the father of their nine-month-old baby. it occurred on pacific avenue about 6:30 last night. they found the girl with stab wounds in her body and repeated attempts to revive her failed and she was pronounced dead at the scene. >> the investigation is still active and we're trying to collect evidence and identify witnesses to find out who was involved in this incident. >> henry leon is believed for driving a cadillac, 35 fbe 608 is the license plate. anyone with information to find leon is encouraged to call san leandro police. >>> they beat him and called him a terrorist and now the south bay hate crime victim is sharing his story with abc7. it happened back on november 21 but police just a sketch of one of the attackers. tomas ramon brings the victim's account i.

terry mcsweeney is live near the scene. this has been going on for hours now. >> reporter: yeah, this person was first spotted at 6:00 last night and he hasn't made a lot of movement neither has san francisco police. they are not planning to make any movements they are going to wait this guy out. he is where those lights are shining. i'm here on chestnut near montgomery looking up at telegraph hill. the suspect in the bushes right where those lights are ing. -- lights are shining. this began 6:00 last night. you see that apartment building with the little -- the light is on. a neighbor called 911 said i see somebody going into an apartment he's got a couple backpacks itch the manager went down, confronted him -- he pushed the manager away and came down that steep hill. between 6:00 last night and right now, that is as far as he's gotten. police have talked to him this is the police strategy going forward. >> right now it is a wait and see. the fire department has floodlights pointed to where the man was last heard from less
