i'm terry mcsweeney. anoushah rasta has the night off. right now police are searching for a suspect in the waters near oakland international airport after the man crashed his car through a security gate and got on the tarmac to get away from a deputy. where is this guy now, do you think? >> they think this suspect is in the water, but they have not been able to find him after searching that water by boat and from the sky for hours. as of now, they are on a recovery mission after that suspect took off from deputies. we'll take you from some video and tell you how this all started around noon. investigators say a sheriffs deputy tried to make a traffic stop when that suspect took off on an airport access road and ran the security gate at over 50 miles an hour and got on to the tarmac. then got out of the car, took off running toward the water. the crews have been scouring the water by boat and air. they used drones, but no sign of this suspect. they searched the truck. inside they thought there were assault weapons, but it turned out it was

chief terry saul was a chickasaw and choctaw. born in 1921 in hoeoklahoma. anyone who knows anything about that part of the world in the 1920s and '30s will know it wasn't an easy place to be native american. and so chief terry saul grew up seeing lynchings on a fairly regular basis. lynchings of both native and african-american people. he grew up experiencing impoverishment and vicious racism on an almost daily basis. so you had to be tough. you had to be resilient. and you had to have something of a sense of humor. it seems saul's parents had a sense of humor because they named their child chief which utterly confused white people throughout oklahoma as he grew to man hoohood in the 1930s and '40s. he was never a chief of tbut he grow up to become a wonderful native american artist. he served briefly in the second world war and when the war was over, the g.i. bill helped him attend the university of oklahoma where he pursued his education and passion for art. and it's at the university of oklahoma that chief terry saul learned the rudiments of cubism and s

so, let's bring in abc's terry moran, live in washington. he covered the last impeachment involved bill clinton, and terry, still so many unknowns here, but take us through this. what happens next? >> reporter: well, david, this is an historic day, no doubt about it. a momentous step. but we're a long way from any kind of vote to impeach president trump or remove him from office. here's how it will go down. facts and evidence. speaker pelosi has instructed the six committees that are already investigating president trump to, quote, proceed under that umbrella of an impeachment inquiry. depending on the facts and evidence they develop, articles of impeachment could be drafted then. on bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors, that sort of thing. and then perhaps voted on. as i say, we're a long way from that. this is a momentum step, but it's clear that nancy pelosi would not have taken it were she not prepared to take that step. she knows one thing, any impeachment requires the support of the american public in a very big way, and she's proce

alix: terry, how do you see it? a trade war in aviation would be a lose-lose game because the supply chains are integrated. what is your base case for what goes down between the u.s. and europe? isry: what i look for, one everybody should remember some sort of ruling is expected today in favor of the united states vis-a-vis airbus. it also needs to be understood that they will be a ruling early in 2020 for the european union on boeing, so there's some reciprocity. i look for this. i go back to the overall mood music between the united states and the european union that has existed since july 2018, when they decided they were going to engage on a variety of subjects. i look for the possibility of tariffs between the u.s. and the eu. maybe the united states tries to get the eu to put agriculture on the table, which it very much wants. maybe the eu refuses that. i think the base case here is for continued negotiation between the u.s. and eu, and not necessarily the imposition of an immediate tariff scheme or an immedia
