we've already checked in with terry madonna, pollster. also got journalist harold jackson, attorney val digiorgio, and documentarian sam katz. let's get going on kathleen kane. terry talked about the numbers, which were a bit surprising. we expected that -- we're all watching everything that's going on -- that the average voter out there would say she's done, but it looks like many people as not think she should stick around and keep going. did those numbers surprise you? >> they didn't surprise me. i think that kathleen kane comes across as still a very likeable person, as a vulnerable woman in an environment in which the good old boys rule. and by releasing the e-mails, it sort of supports her argument that, you know, "they're just out to get me because i'm trying to show that they're doing wrong on the job. >> let's talk about the e-mails. now, these e-mails seem to be of a piece of what we saw come out some months ago. just now we've got frank fina and marc costanzo's names attached to them. so, we kind of had a sense of what was gonn

. >> leaking grand-jury information is something that is not always prosecuted very often, and terry madonnain his "politically uncorrected" column, asks this question. i'm just gonna throw it out here. if a male had held her office and did all the things that she did, would this male be in this much trouble? >> you know, [chuckles] this is playing into what kathleen kane, the kane strategy for months now -- the old boys' network. "i'm being attacked because of the old boys' network." well, it was a woman who indicted her. it was a woman who handed down an indictment against another woman. i do not think -- whether or not a male in a similar position would've been indicted, kathleen kane is not the victim of sexism and the old boys' network, and she's a victim, george, of her own incompetence. >> okay, let's talk about chaka fattah. he vows to fight on, but should replacements start lining up for him? the philadelphia congressman is facing an indictment in a federal racketeering case. he spoke to "action news" this week. vernon odom, let's listen to what he had to say. >> i will not equivoca

and, technically, they could move to -- >> terry madonna made that point on this stage. >> is that where this is going? but it's a process that's secret. nobody knows. they could speak tomorrow, they could speak months from now. >> well, first of all, under the commonwealth attorneys act, which created the elected attorney general's office, you must be a licensed lawyer to hold the office in good standing. i've handled disbarment cases and represented lawyers in those situations. the first step is a suspension of the license, and that happens very quickly. that's only about a 10-day period. >> wow. >> then disbarment is a longer process. we have due process. you have a hearing if you want to challenge it. so, if the court wanted to suspend her license, they could do it pretty quickly. then there'd be a legal question, does that mean she can no longer serve if it's suspended? clearly couldn't serve if you're disbarred. >> right. >> so, you would have a question on the suspension. >> let me go back to what we said weeks ago with kathleen kane because of all the people leaving, and the man

and i am joined this morning by our insider terry madonna, the chief pollster for franklin & marshallollege. you've got a new poll out that we wanted to dig into, because it's got some surprising information on a number of things. let's start by looking at the fight over the state budget in pennsylvania. we still don't have a budget. you would think that there might be anger at all sides, because all sides have dug in. but it's looking like a win for governor wolf when you look at this, 54% of people blame the legislature, 29% blame the governor. in fact, 66% say people should be hit in the paycheck if they're in the legislature. >> [ lauin
