thank you for joining us, i'm terry mcsweeney in for raj mathai. >> i'm jessica aguirre. what went wrong? ian cull joins us. it's not clear if presurgery steps were followed? >> the woman went to miami for the operations. our nbc producers there have documented a number of cases like this, women flocking to south florida, lured by low-cost plastic surgery, the results can be tragic. delma pineda, 44-year-old mother of two from richmond, flew to south florida for cosmetic procedures. she stayed with her friend cindy. she says employees at the cosmetic site sent pineda to get a pre-op ultrasound. the center was closed and when they came back, cg cosmetic proceeded with the operations anyway. after the one-day surgery for breast implants, liposuction, and tummy tuck, she says pineda was in pain all night, collapsed around 4:00 a.m., died at the hospital. long hyme dive frie long-time friends in the bay area couldn't believe it. >> everybody was devastated. big loss. >> reporter: family members want justice and they set up a go fund me to bury pineda and help in the legal fig

i'm terry mcsweeney in for raj mathai. >> and i'm jessica aguirre. soaked and about to get more soggy. a new round of wet weather is here. we are under a microsystclimate weather aler. what are we talking about in terms of heaviest rain? >> we're seeing the south bay getting pummelled over the past hour. that's where things are have picked up fast. a few reports i'm hearing tonight are street flooding issues. also another part of east san jose. down to the south bay. put the radar on a sloloop, thas rainfall rate about 1 inch per hour coming down so hard. a lot of the streets had a hard time dealing with the drainage from those heavy rains. now most of it is moving off towards the hills. but what i want everybody to know in the south bay is there is another round on the quay. you can see it right here across the santa cruz mountains. this is producing about a half inch per hour. so we may run into more flooding issues as we head throughout the next 30 to 45 minutes. we'll likely see things pick up yet again in campbell by 11:32. san jose at 11:47. le

terry mcsweeney has the night off. a potential edition of the nbc bay area news because of the giants game. the conditions didn't let up for the weekend. and the rain, on and off today, but we are almost in the clear i hear. >> this is what you call the calm following the storm. this is what it looks like woodside right now. san francisco depicting that beautifully. we have the sunset but a couple of drops working to dry out. we had some wacky weather. danville and areas in the trivalley early on. our mobile doppler radar is still scanning. the majority of the showers trekking inland, off to the south of the trivalley and it's going continue to make its exit leaving behind some cloud combinations as we head in towards tonight. the temperatures will drop to the 40s, some 30s. heyward right now, 51 degrees. san jose, also 51 degrees. oakland, 52 degrees. tomorrow's daytime highs will be very similar. within the next couple of hours, san francisco is going clear out quite nicely in them offense that cloud cover. by 10:00
