. >> and i'm terry mcsweeny. >> happening now dozens of search crews on the ground along with helicopters and planes looking for a missing hiker. the woman from menlo park hasn't been seen for more than a week. annette miranda is live on mt. tam with more. >> reporter: well, terry, this is an unusual case in that no one had reported 33-year-old magdalena glinkowski missing. park rangers in the her rental car was here for days. in fact, it had been here since last sunday. the photos of her wearing a bright pink windbreaker jacket were taken from a security camera at the blue jack trailhead. glinkowski was buying a parking permit around 12:40 p.m. on march 30. by week's end rangers tracked down where she lived and found out from her landlord she hadn't been to her residence since sunday. she lives in a cottage adjacent to the landlord. she just moved to the bay area looking for a job and doesn't have many friends and family here which explains why no one report her missing. although she did leave a message that she was going for a day hike. authorities launched a large-scale search yesterda
