chief meteorologist terry swails joining us now with more on that. >> you said it all. tomorrow morning will start out nice and when that front hits tomorrow afternoon things go downhill fast. by this time tomorrow night, in eastern iowa. today it was a happy world the birds were chirping. in iowa city it hit 75 degrees. they tied the record high which was set in 1958. here in cedar rapids we made it up to 73 also tying our record high which was in 1941. no records in waterloo or to puke. both of the cities make it into the 70s this afternoon. some outstanding weather in the midwest. anything in the way of rainfall. 15 consecutive days of no rainfall. tonight as that cold front approaches we could see showers developed and this could be around early in the day tomorrow. i don't look too much in the way of rainfall. for the commute to my there could be some sprinkles but can't beat the temperatures. they will be in that made and upper 50s. normal lows should be around 27 degrees. we will be 30 degrees above normal. then the front we expect strong winds and falling temper
