there hasn't been a lot of time to review the text of the latest changes to the bill. the reality is this, they believe they have the votes and they're going to vote on it. i think that's always been the case. leaders have made clear, whenever they get to that point, whenever they feel like they've reached that requisite number of 216 votes, they're going to put it on the floor because they don't want to give this an opportunity to hang out there too long, members get nervous and members start moving away as those attacks that are almost certainly going to commence right about the time the vote happens from democrats and outside interest groups. i will note, i've been texting back and forth with a couple members who were just inside that closed-door conference meeting. the point they tell me speaker ryan was trying to make very clear, the time is now to do this. the time is now to move this along in the process. is the bill the house is considering today perfect, fully fleshed out? no, but getting it to the senate, letting the senate do its work on it and send it back
