all of that is gone now thankfully. we're all settled down. here's what's been happening over the last few hours. just a few clouds coming through now. and storm4 radar not picking up any showers around it the region. the nearest rain is way down into north carolina. right now around the region, we are in the upper 60s. much of the area. right now in northern virginia and into much of maryland in the mid and upper 60s in the suburbs and rural areas. district of columbia, reagan national at 74. montgomery and howard and frederick counties in maryland are generally around 70 degrees. it's upper 60s into the mountains and your day planner for today we'll have temperatures by 9:00 in upper 70s to around 80 but turning less humid by the afternoon. we'll be rather hot in upper 80s near 90. that's the average high for mid july. and we'll have just a few clouds in and out and only a really small chance of an isolated shower popping up and that's mainly out in the mountain regions by mid to late afternoon. i'll be back in ten minutes with another updat

thankfully he came through just recently, which will allow us to finish the river walk. but specifically, i think tampa is leading the recession in florida, and it's being driven by young professionals who enjoy the urban environment. we tripled the level in other states because we drive so much activity down there. once people get exposed to the water front, they walk away like a lot of the delegates. wow, i never knew this city existed. this is a really cool place. >> what do the young professionals do? >> it's a diverse economy. part of it is economy driven. >> who the largest employer? >> it depends. in downtown tampa it's probably one of the banks. we're still regional headquarters for a lot of the banking institutions. we have a big technology sector. we have cam e el's facility. applied learning and simulations. we have about 30,000 hotel nights every year from visiting surgeons all over the year who come from downtown ptampa to train in robotic simulations. it's trying to change the economic dna. from real estate and tourism to a more technology evaluated economy
