the bay. choppy this morning looking toward alameda, el cerrito and in oakland. artly cloudy today a cool june day with this area of low pressure again sinking to the south drawing in all that cooler air mass. today will be the coolest day of the workweek and then tomorrow this area of high pressure this huge ridge begins to expand and as it does so, it will warm us up each day through the weekend until we begin to flirt with triple digits on monday. upper 50s across the northwestern quadrant of the state of california. mid-60s through carmel. 80s to 90s across the central valley and a forecast high today on the south shore of 66 degrees where it's windy. 60s beaches, 60s bayside, 70s peninsula through our inland areas until we begin to top off at 84 degrees. that will be in cloverdale. sundown tonight at 8:36. by then we'll see the clouds clearing out leaving us with warmer conditions each day. yes, nearly 100 degrees at the alameda county fair on monday which by the way i'm heading to for our noon show today. and while i'm out there, come by and say hi. you know
