host: matt polka, the name of your organization is the american cable association. is that an outdated name at this point? matt: that is a question we ask ourselves all the time, and you know what, we have really taken the time of the last few years to really think about that. but i will tell you this -- our members are broadband forward. they are broadband providers in every sense of the world. we have been here in washington sincee last 25 years, and 1999 when we changed our name to the american cable association, we have invested a lot of time and people into the name, and so when our board, when we consider that issue of name change, couple of years ago, we thought to ourselves you know, we could change it, we could become communications, we could become broadband, but we spent a lot of time putting a lot of credibility and character behind her name, and we will stick with that, because everybody knows who the american cable association is. there was a lot of confusion with debates on capitol hill with the affordablcare act, but is to say, we were aca before ther

"i cannot define it, but i know that they do." judge shirley hufstetler suggested that the answer is shaped by time and culture.
