here's that cold front making its way into the bay area now. you have the trough that's really digging its way along the california coastline. that is helping to support the system. it is going to be a slow mover as it moves on by this morning. but as we head toward the afternoon, things start to dry out. a lot of rain around the state too as we are going to see showers up in the sierra nevada. that's good news for the folks fighting that king fire there. it looks like they will get some much-needed rain for them. all right. here's a system right now just pulling its way on through sliding on by. by 8:00, 9:00, we are going to see it sliding into san jose all the way into morgan hill and gilroy down into the monterrey day. but then just scattered showers behind that. and we are going to see some sunshine between the breaks in the clouds and the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm but i think the worst of it comes through this morning and then the weather should start to improve. temperature-wise, we are going to see a lot of 70s into the sou
