we've had enough rain now come to the middle of the bay area. onal weather service has actually issued a flood advisory. that is the low-grade watch vehicle just because we had so much rain, that it's quite possible right to the heart of the bay where you see that big band of heavy rain. look at that organized band of yellow, orange, and red which extends right to the bay area. the flood advisory covers the areas that have been impacted so far by the heavy rain, and i will likely continue to impact over the next few hours. let's come in and watch the detail on this. we will start down here on the peninsula. from half moon bay extending all the way toward san mateo, that is a very well organized , intense rain which has hung up right now at this location. we can follow it across the bay right over to oakland international airport. that is where you've got the red return right there. we had a 50 an mile an hour got out there within the last hour, as that big heavy band of rain come through, you get the strongest wind right with it, and we could fol

not expected to bring any rain to the bay area. it will drop temperatures and really going to kick up the wind. let's take a look at the future caste model i have it started. on tuesday you see along the coastline some breezy conditions and a little bit of a wind blowing around. that is coming from the northwest starting tomorrow morning and into the afternoon and into the evening hours, notice how the bar shifts and it becomes the northeast wind. when it is a northeast wind we really save the dry conditions and the heightened fire danger. that is tomorrow night and into wednesday morning, that shade of yellow and orange and red over the central valley and sacramento valley showing you where you will see some gusty wind. as we rode through wednesday evening notice by wednesday night the wind is blowing quite strong from the coastline over areas of the north bay and the east bay. this is where we have the red flag warning moving into place. the east bay hills wind 45 miles per hour or so and could even gust stronger than that along t

but look at that rain coming down in the bay area's we take for a closer look. you can see some of those showers popping up some heavier bands now making their way into parts of the south bay they will get some downpours are really taking the better part of the day to get the rain in that direction otherwise the showers continuing across san francisco stretching into union city parts of the east bay too and then the main cold front is actually just beginning to move into the north bay where they've seen the most significant rainfall so far some of those are rain totals upwards of a half an inch of rain so far and there's plenty more to come. in fact there is some concern tonight and some of the north bay that we're looking at the possibility of some flash flooding. so some advisories have been posted in those areas and the north bay specially in and around the contained fire of the burn areas not able hold out water there's just not the root systems from up last there so certainly concern that we could see some flash flooding there. but this storm season looks li
