, arizona state, northern arizona. they are dealing with half the money they used to deal with. this is another case of the republican agenda being carried out by a radical governor and radical leaders. arizona republicans are trying to put the final nail in the coffin of unions. my question, did they campaign on this? the answer is no. democrats are virtually in this situation sad to report to you tonight, powerless to stop it. they have the smallest democratic caucus in arizona state history. this isn't what they campaigned on, but this is the popular thing. for radical governors and radical ledge i have bodies to go after the middle class because now that citizens united has passed, heck, they can do anything they want. they'll get the money to keep them in office to cut all these state budgets, cut the elderly, cut the public service, cut the law enforcement, cut the firefighters, go to public education, go to higher education and let the people dangle in the wind. let's turn to arizona state minority leader david shapira, appreciate your time.

it is possible tonight that one candidate wins the popular vote state-wide but doesn't get the majority of the delegates. why? in arizona win the state you get all the delegates. in michigan the delegates are awarded by congressional district. two delegates for each of the 14 congressional districts. we have to go race by race district by district. 14 congressional districts in the state. a half dozen right down in here. a lot of these congressional districts at play tonight are held by democrats. in the detroit area particularly, democratic seats, not a lot of republican voters. that's one of the places we will see if there's what i'll call democratic mischief in the republican primary. even as the votes come in tonight remember, if one candidate opens up a lead in the state-wide vote that doesn't mean that same candidate will get the bulk of the delegates. we have to work through maps, county by county, congressional district by congressional district to figure that out. rick santorum and mitt romney are accusing each other of cheap shots, dirty tricks. we'll take a look at both campaigns over the last 48 hours. and a

today is the 100th birthday of arizona. the state legislature is grappling with the pressing issue of foul mouthed public school teachers. this is arizona state senator lori klein, a republican, senator klein introduced state legislation that would punish teachers for using speech that violates the fcc standards for network television shows. so, senator klein wants to stop the scourge of teachers cursing. as her bill is written this would have the government regulating the language of teachers not just in the classroom but anywhere in their whole lives. math teacher, you hit your thumb with a hammer, the state government of arizona will be listening in to make sure you only say dang. or they will unleash all heck on you i guess sort of hard to be angry if you barred the whole swearing thing. >>> if that is not big enough role for government, there is a man in virginia, bob marshall, also a republican. he once tried to outlaw swearing in e-mail. not just by teachers, not just by any one group of people, not a particular kind of email,
