hellfire says 125 structures have burned here from the atlas peak fire. there is still another 5000 structures that are threatened. that includes barnes, homes any kind of structures and property in the area near the atlas peak raids. we talked to a lot of folks here at the evacuation center yesterday. they told us they grabbed what they could, but really they just had minutes to get out. they don't know what happened to their homes. this morning they will be waking up seeing if they can go back to their neighborhoods, but a lot of these roads are closed. they have not been able to check out their properties just yet. we did speak to an individual yesterday who says he somehow made it in and saw one of his neighbors homes burning to the ground. the devastation, the destruction here still coming to light. as the sun comes up, we will learn more this morning. there are about 300 people here, but napa valley college is also open to evacuees and the fairgrounds also open to evacuees this morning.>>> that last check, more than 99,000 people are without power. t

the other side of the valley from the atlas peak fire. unfortunately we have two fires working in that area, we reported yesterday about the partrik fire. this morning it has burned 9,000-acres but i am pleased to say we are at 2% containment on that fire, evacuations for that area have not changed but i will read them again, old sonoma road to henry, las amigas, level valley rode and stanley lane. the evacuation center is the gym. the new fire is the nun fire, it's been moving towards napa. last night it crossed over into the mountain and it's sitting there. it's at 7,000-acres, there is 2% containment on that fire, manned tru evacuations were issued last night from mount peter road and oakville grade and dry creek road. i heard a lot of concerns from the people in the city of napa. the mandatory evacuations are at landa vista. on the west side there are no mandatory evacuations but be aware of any advisories or evacuations to come. the winds are moving us around. stay tuned. thank you very much. >>> next is mayor john dunbar. >>> thank y

the observations. napa is north. sonoma observation is north. atlas peak is northeast. 10 miles per hour less and humidity is higher. 31% atlas peak. for others it was in the teens yesterday announce 80%. coming out of oakland hills northeast, 62 northeast 52. above the oakland zoo, 61 degrees and 32% feast at 10. a few observations in san francisco still have an easterly breeze. that will do it for north and northwest. that is what's ushering the smoke back in from napa county, even into parts of oakland and san francisco. you can see san carlos east southeast. oakland airport, east southeast. today decreasing wind, higher humidity, almost everyone has said there is no wind and it's cooler, but you still have low fuels on that the fire can create its own wind. temperatures will be coming down , 30s and 40s, much cooler for some. the airport still north, there is north of fairfield. unfortunately the offshore breeze prevents it, 21 degrees cooler in napa, highs in the 60s and 70s. i think we will get more of a westerly breeze. that system is digging in and

i want to provide an update on the atlas peak fire. as of this morning we had 43,000 acres burned. 3% containment and we are actively fighting the fire. to all the constituents at district 4 thank you for your patience. there's a lot of devastation out of there but i am happy to report because of the work of our sheriff's department, pg&e, at&t and cal fire we are talking about people going back into their homes. we are saying when can we open the roadblocks and we are having active discussions with more good news to come shortly but it is really a team effort and again i can't underscore the patient's from all the residents of district 4. you have a community standing with you working hard for you. we have some folks at the shelters and that is from napa valley college as well as solano. also folks in the community foundation has established an account for donations. unfortunately we have done this before. we have done tragedy with earthquakes and this community comes together in ways we can't even imagine. please visit the website for
