. >>> there's breaking news in the phylicia barnes murder trial. the jury stopped deliberations late this afternoon to ask the judge a question. brian kuebler joins us with the latest. >> reporter: between yesterday and today the jury spent about 10 hours negotiating. they asked to see two pieces of evidence. one is the walmart video showing michael buying that blue tote and the other is the sex video. the judge is bringing them into the courtroom to review the video. up to this point we haven't heard a peep out of the jury. now jurors have a mountain of evidence to review including hundreds of text messages, and phone calls and trying to lay out the timeline. most of the state's case is circumstantial and lacks that key piece of evidence. that is the defense' main point in this case. the state contends that sex tape depict phylicia, her older sister, michael johnson and his brother is a key turning point and helps establish a motive for johnson developing feelings for the teen. we'll keep you updated on any further development and whether or not we
