some of that near the reading area up into the shaft up in the oregon as well for the bay area. ah, we're pretty dry out there right now. that's kind of what's going to stay for the next few hours. but the winds have been picking up. we've seen some winds up gusting over 20 miles an hour. 26 miles an hour in the san francisco. still a little blustery in spots this afternoon that on shore breeze bringing with it not only is some high clouds, but we're also seeing some fog developing out there toward the coastline. temperatures a little cool to 57 degrees in san francisco. 61 in oakland right now. 66 in san jose. 64 degrees in lemore. 66 in concord and 63 degrees in santa rosa. but here comes the first system overnight tonight. that will be a chance. a couple sprinkles than this one comes in by tomorrow evening. i think that maybe a little more robust and that could bring a chance of a few scattered showers, least some drizzle along the coastline pushing further south across parts of the bay. as we head toward tomorrow night. so we'll see how that all works out to see it all here o

back here across the bay area we was not included in this, at least the greater bay area because the wind did not reach that criteria. you get the humidity and it elevates the fire danger. maybe not to red flag status but we know how dry it is. now 98 degrees and good enough for a record here. we tied a record here in livermore at this location. santa rosa shattered the old record. the old 89 degrees set back in 2020 and san jose airport up to 93 degrees. i see one more day of hot weather like this inland as we head into tomorrow. we will see things dropping off a few degrees as the afternoon seabreeze returns. not quite as hot tomorrow but overall a very warm day. as we start off we will begin with mostly sunny skies. lots of 60s and no need for the jacket. the only spot here with some slightly cooler weather will be san francisco at 58 degrees. daytime high temperatures tomorrow beginning to drop off, but you are still looking at some very warm weather. over the east bay some of the hottest weather here. head closer to the bay a better day at 83 degrees. through the peninsula seeki

yeah, we had a cold front dropping to the bay area today. ally did have report a light shower. 1, one 100th of an inch of rain in richmond today. how about that yet felt the moisture just really wanted to raise. wanted to go. but yeah, but that was winds are whipping up around the bay area. again, you can see the a camera right now looking towards coit tower. yeah, pretty blustery in spots. we've had some gusts now in millbrae this past hour of almost 40 miles per hour. here's that weak weather system sliding through most that energy moving to the north of the bay area's to the cold front kind of making its way on through. earlier on today. here comes those clouds sliding on by. ere es that just was not much energy left with that system. but now starting to see those winds really kicking up in the south. things have been playing out pretty in april. now we're here. we in the same thing. it's going to see more of those winds as these weeks is weak systems roll on by. you get to high pressure trying to build in behind. you get those gusty winds

this is the next system that has better aim and the possibility to bring light rain to the bay area on sunday. watch the line get dragged through pretty much the north bay, the heart of the bay and right through the middle of the day and a lot of disagreement on the forecast models as far as how it comes together with rain. i do not think the rain is the biggest impact. if the rain comes is fairly light, it doesn't add up to a whole lot. what you will notice for mother's day is it will be cooler and breezy. by saturday afternoon and evening, we will possibly be seeing guests up to 25 or 30 miles per hour areawide. breezy saturday evening, sunday the system passes through and it will be breezy and cool. maybe light rain did none look significant in terms of wind and rain. this isn't a blockbuster storm but still more than what we've had around here for a while that lingers into monday. by the time we get it early next week, or the middle next week, things will warm up. a lot to watch over the next few days were still looking at friday morning's commute gianna. >> mobile five is out and
