and this year, a 2 around the bay area. we have some more scattered showers popping up and you saw thunderstorms trying to make their way on through. never quite got going. but still, that's a showers popping up around the bay area. but nice glimpse of sunshine in between those raindrops still. yeah, we're watching for some flo ding in that continues in the north bay and they've just extended this advisory. again, you're looking at mark west creek, also a green valley creek. those creeks right now are currently having some issues with flooding, minor flooding along those creeks. i think by early tomorrow morning that should come to an end. in fact, the time we wake up the flooding should have ended. then we'll get a little bit of a break in the stormy pattern. so that's a nice sight to see. now we have had all that rain around the bay area and that it's going to give rise to some patchy, dense fog. so dense fog advisory in solano county, but do expect to see some of that dense fog in some of the north and the east bay valley

we're waking up to cloudy skies around the bay area. beautiful at times through oakland and walnut creek. some of that fog is limiting visibility for anyone trying to get out there runninger rapids. walnut creek, concord, the north bay and south bay limiting visibility to morgan hill to less than a mile. as we take a look at where storm number two is, very impressive on satellite and radar right now, as it takes that cinnamon roll shape this morning. it is associated with a line of rain and thunderstorms already developing offshore. as we go on into 10:00 a.m. today, for the next couple of days, the entire bay area will be placed under that flood watch. so we have to keep an eye on rivers and potential of shallow landslides and potential of severe thunderstorms. so get out the door before noon, especially if you live in the north bay. we will be watching severe thunderstorm potential. many people in the north bay gearing up for the next storm to hit in the next couple of the hours. tom jenson is in santa rosa where sandbag locations are
