three more people have been diagnosed with legionnaires' disease in the bronx. that brings the total number of new cases to ten. >> several areas that have been tested positive for the bacteria have been tested. robert moses has more for us. >> reporter: good morning to you. one of the towers to test positive was here at lehman high school. we spoke to a to a security guard here and he said personnel were here very late disinfected. the department of education says, yes it has been disinfected, the, the air-conditioning has been shut off, there is no risk to students or staff. it appears normal school day lies ahead. classes are going on as usual at lehman high school in the bronx even though cooling tower tested positive for the legionnaire bacteria. seventy-five towers that were tested have come back positive. the health commissioner ordered them all to be immediately disinfected. on a conference call they said all of the affected towers had been clean this summer in accordance with her orders. >> conditions can change. bronx has now grown to ten cases from sev

police are investigating the death of a newborn baby in the bronx. someone threw the child out of a window. "today in new york's" katherine creag is there and she spoke with the police. kat, it's so hard to say what happened. >> reporter: right. it's hard to wrap your head around what that scene must have looked like. we talked with a sergeant. so far no one has been arrested. no one has been charged. you can imagine this is such a shock to the people who live here. some of the neighbors know the parents, the father and the mother. they have at least one other child, possibly a toddler, living in the home. they tell us that this is a normal couple. this happened on 183rd street where the parents of the baby live. police believe a newborn with an umbilical cord still attached was thrown out of a window from the seventh floor of the building here. the super's wife found the newborn on the ground at 2:30 in the afternoon. neighbors who saw police through the afternoon and into the night told us they were shocked by what happened. >> i can't explain the f
