the scare. a bullhead city man has been arrested for the attempted murder of his two week old daughter... this is jeremy cowan-- police say his baby was transported to a hospital here in las vegas--- with a fractured skull and brain hemorrhage.... cowan and the baby's mother say she fell off the couch.... then they changed the story saying cowan accidentally fell and dropped the baby. police later discovered that he had thrown the infant head first floor because she was crying. a man died while scuba diving at lake mead. the man's name is fred arnold--- a police officer from tampa florida. "fox-13" in tampa reported arnold was on vacation when he suffered a sudden medical issue. officials at the lake say he was unconcious when he surfaced. a woman also died while snorkeling at the lake with friends this weekend. it was the first day of school for thousands of students in the valley.. but some students don't actually go to class in the school building.... that's because schools are using portable classrooms because there are just too many students to fit inside the building. fox 5's eric h
