jillian: the category 3 hurricane sparking catastrophic flooding and landslide concerns as the big islands hit with 20 inches of rain in 24 hours. the center of the storm moving dangerously close to the island. rob: adam is clocking to force, it is slow right now. >> it is a slow mover which gives more time for heavy rain to fall. it is still a way away from the island, looking at 120 mph, gusting to 150 mph, it is making attract with the island of maui moving north at 6 miles an hour. this is a real slow mover. it will be a slow mover the next couple days. the rain has been heavy on the big island, the larger island to the west. as much as two feet of rain in some locations, we will see very heavy rain from the big island through the rest of the day including toward maui and eventually to the rest of the island but it will stay off of the western islands. the motion of this, it is a category 3 and it weakens as it moves north so eventually falling to a category 2, turning and becoming a category one storm. there is some indecision, tracking north towards maui, very sharp turn at 2:00 pm
