strictly as a contribution to the city skyline. the photomontage here shows the view looking from the garage toward the site. this is the same view towards the marriott, and the image on the left is without the hotel constructed, and the one on the right is with the hotel constructed, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the setback, which the department asked for. finally, this is the view along jesse street with the hotel seen on the left hand side. a couple of years of the model of the hotel i think are quite illustrative. the view down mission street towards the convention center is the back of the building. as rick crawford mentioned, there is not a restaurant in this hotel. the patrons who stay here will generate business activity which, hopefully, will fill some of the vacant storefronts on mission street that now exist in that block and will help further revitalize the plaza area, which is already an excellent civic space. the retail spaces will both be oriented to jesse end to mission street, as you see in this image. ty

cities investigating a string of officers involved shootings the first in oakland where one man was killed, two officers are on paid administrative leave that happen 9:15 p.m. saturday night outside skyline high schools when perform all dance. police were called out on the boards of a suspicious vehicle outside of the dance. when they discovered the vehicle was stolen that's when they confronted the passengers he stabs an officer several times with a screwdriver, he bit the officer. that is when police opened fire shooting and killing that man female driver taken to hospital not injured. police recovered a handgun that belong to the mail. they don't know the couple had connections to the high school. another officer involved shooting under investigation this type in san francisco, 7:00 p.m. saturday evening police tried to stop the car near the cow palace. the woman driver sped up, drove away, crashing into a home near geneva. the woman then put the vehicle in reverse, began backing up towards officers. that's one police up with fire hitting the driver. last jet, a critical condition at the hospital, there was a man in hospital but was not injured. the officers were not seriously injured
