it's a little cool by the coastline, but you head inland anywhere inside the bay. beautiful weather in the south bay, the santa clara valley mid 60's there now 70's and some of the east bay valleys and parts of the north bay, too. so really some comfortable temperatures out there. we've got some very nice weather settling in air quality. got a little hazy out there. but most that is just some so looking at some pretty good air quality all around the bay area. just some moderate amounts of blood is building up in parts of the east bay. also into the delta. we've got that sea breeze blowing. again, though, in that onshore wind will eventually carry some patchy fog out along the coastline. but overall looks like high pressure going to be taking over. in fact, you kind of get the sense of that building ridge just off the coastline right here that is going to be rolling in toward the bay area the next couple of days. weaver probably look at the warmest temperatures the week right about the middle of the week. so that storm system looks impressive but go to stay off the

it is clear all the way to the coastline. look at that beautiful shot out toward the golden gate bridge right now. when kind of kicking around the camera just a little bit as we're seeing that sea breeze kicking in the afternoon again. but i think all told the not a bad day. in fact, it's still 70 degrees in santa rosa right now about that. 65 in napa. 63 in lemore cooler. 56 in the san francisco. 61. we're friends in san carlos, but that breeze kicking in again. lee got some winds to 24 miles an hour in the san francisco right now. just more of a general afternoon breeze will see that probablynagain tomorrow as well. but as we get into the next few days, warmer weather on the way, especially the valleys. i think likely see some temperatures sneaking back into the 70's. no big dominant ridge of high pressure along the coastline just yet. we're still waiting for that. there's ridge off the coastline kind of flat ridge that's going to kind of crews across the pacific and kind of move overhead tomorrow. and that means we're going

you're seeing some gusts of the west at 15 along the coastline. you can see a lot of the winds continuing into the north bay. some 29 mile an hour gust 30 mile an hour gusts. but along the coastline, i think that we're going to see the strongest winds. we could see some of these gusts over 40 miles per hour today. so a little bit blustery in spots through the evening hours. then after the sunset, i think the winds will begin calm down around the bay area. but overall, it looks like not a bad pattern we're in right now. you see that clear slot of much across much of california. skies looking good out there right now. going to be a beautiful sunset around the bay area. we've got a ridge of high pressure that's going to try to build and you can still see the curvature that trough moving along the coastline right now. so, yeah, no banner heat wave out there, but we've got some much warmer weather on the way. we'll tell you what expect that coming up in a few minutes. thank you, for the first time ever, the golden state warriors are set to face the sacr

if you're traveling along the coastline, be careful. fog going to be thick throughout the night tonight and early tomorrow morning. but usually a sign when you get the fog. that is all the way down on the deck like that, right on the streets. that's a sign of a strong ridge of high pressure up above. and that's what we've got going on right now. it is going to those temperatures soaring around much of the bay area except right here at the golden gate. you can see that patchy fog continuing stepping out the door this evening. you've got some very nice temperatures. how about some 80 still in many of the valleys. you've got a lot of 70's in and around the bay and it looks like those temperatures are going to be slowly cooling off tonight with that patchy fog beginning to stretch a little further into the bay. but it's going to be a thin layer of fog outside. so i think it could be gone pretty quickly by tomorrow morning as it's going to warm up dissipate in a hurry. temperatures out the door right now. we've got some 80's in the live. more

numbers dropping in the 40's already along the coastline. some 40's in the valleys in the bay to 49 now in redwood city. 49 in lemore. 53 in berkeley. 55 in the bottle. and 51 right now in sonoma. so it's clear out there. the winds little breezy in spots, but they really started to back off. but we're getting little more of a northerly component. you start to see that there as we're starting to see those winds move out of the north. that's going keep your skies mostly clear. and so that was we have to worry about much in the way of fog overnight tonight and not much cloud cover around much of central california, northern california, high clouds in that direction. but other than that, we're looking good so far. and then it looks like as the next couple days south. finally, high pressure going to build in. you can see a trough, though, still swirling around here, carbon itself out along the west coast. and that's why these temperatures running below the average right now. but i think that trough finally going to kick eastward. and as it moves o

the coastline. we start to talk about the chance of some rain temperatures around the bay area in san francisco are looking at mainly 60's 50's along the coast. civic about 63 in half moon bay. get inside the bay. those numbers warming up in a hurry. 60's almost 70 degrees in millbrae tomorrow. about 75 in san mateo. 75 redwood city, the south bay enjoying lots of numbers in the 70's. the 80's tomorrow afternoon, east bay numbers again, bounce right back up in the 80's about 74 in union city. 73 in hayward about 73 in san leandro, 80 in orinda 83 in concord. so the idea some nice warm weather further inland looking much more like a typical pattern beginning to set itself up next couple days. these temperatures had a well above average, probably near 90 degrees by thursday. cooling back down a little bit into the weekend sunday. looks like it will be much cooler next week. looks really interesting. the beginning of may begins on next monday. and it looks like that most spins off the coastline. here we

warming across the entire state, andre except right near the immediate coastline. little sliver right near the immediate shorelines actually have some fog, keeping those temperatures on the cooler side. but warming up inland here and also warming up in the sierra. you can see just a few sampled spots here for truckee. look at you. 70 valley temperatures will be approaching the low to mid eighties as we head into thursday and friday. now, as a result, we have a flood watch for all these areas in green. of course, we have to keep an eye on the sierra and also downstream as that rainfall activist snow, but the snow melt works its way closer to the central valley. now for us with temperatures. we are warming up inland. lots of eighties and a few neighborhoods inland could be close to 90 degrees over the next several days. in fact, it'll probably stick around into the weekend as well. but this is also a summertime pattern setting up where we haveow marine layer has returned and as a result in dense fog is showing up right near the immediate coastline to the beaches. not
