we're looking toward 880 in oakland, traffic flows nicely past the coliseum. you see a light flow of traffic. there is construction in the area, you don't see cones but look at the map, talking about the stretch between the coliseum and 23rd. you lose a couple of lanes each direction the next half hour to hour. we see some slowing later on as the crews start to clear from 880. so far no disturbance. we have construction west 580 past livermore avenue there will be a lane blocked here and there. the livermore and the foothill boulevard side on the other side of the dublin interchange. so far the only real slowing is north 680 at 60 miles per hour, not a concern out of sunol. >> 4:34 now. we're learning new details about the dodgers fan stabbed after a game with the giants. the father of that man accused in this stabbing telling the chronicle his son michael montgomery was defending himself. while he did not see what happened, michael tells him the altercation started when the two groups exchanged heated words after the game wednesday night. that situation escala
