at this point for the d.c. metro area. there is a winter weather advisory for nelson county. it needs to be watched to see if the northern perimeter of this system will bring a few snow showers or anything to the d.c. immediate area. as it is now, temperatures are expected to be above freezing, so if anything, it looks like we might maybe be set up for a bit of a dusting, but we'll just watch it closely. winds have improved a lot since today gusting up to 30 or more miles an hour in the course of the day that. has improved tonight. winds are 8 to 10 miles an hour. temperatures today, we hit 51 at national, 47 at dulles, 48 at thurgood marshall airport in baltimore and currently temperatures are into the 30s and low 40s pretty much everywhere across the board. it will be a chilly night tonight, 32 degrees, upper 20s in our northern and western suburbs. westerly winds 10 to 15 miles an hour. i'll have an update on that system as we continue to get new information in and let you know what we can expect. there's som
