hundreds of protesters are marching against the controversial "dakota access pipeline." >>> right now chanting in the streets of san francisco, hundreds of protestors marching against the dakota access pipeline. good afternoon, it is tuesday, november 15. i'm kenny choi. >> i'm michelle griego. those protests aren't just happening here in the bay area but also nationwide. kpix 5's anne makovec joins us live from san francisco city hall where demonstrators are wrapping up. anne. >> reporter: the protest just wrapped up here at civic center plaza in front of city hall. but the protests went on for five hours starting at 6:30 this morning with a sunrise ceremony in solidarity. check out these pictures from chopper 5. eventually the crowd grew to between 500 and 1,000 people ending up in the middle of market street in front of the corps of engineers. this was the scene at 9:30 a.m. police facilitating the march. they stayed for hours giving their feels about the feelings against the dakota access pipeline. some sat in the middle of the street. others linked arms outside the army corps off
