it happened after a woman's boat crashed in the delta. this is video from thursday afternoon. the boat up on the rock levee near the franks tract state recreational area. officials say the woman became pinned inside the boat after the crash. a helicopter was dispatched to the scene just before one o'clock. the woman was then airlifted to an area hospital for treatment. her condition is unknown. no one else was injured. that marine layer is being extended as far as fairfield this morning, blowing right through the delta and beyond. some of the east bay could see the cloud cover soon. by this afternoon wind speeds will get stronger. something to keep in mind especially along the fire lines, it could get breezy later this afternoon and stay breezy through about 9:00 p.m. before things settle down again overnight. this is a look at the ridge of high pressure, still over the desert southwest. it will stay in place. it is weakening slightly, and moving a little more to the east, allowing temperatures to go from the triple digits to the low 90s. across the east bay, low 90s, but cooler through vallejo with the wind. compare that to 65 for san francisco, sausalito 67, nevada warmer with 88 degrees. temperatures not in the triple digits but still hot for the firefighters today. this ridge is going to hang around and continue through the next few days. as it moves more east, hovers over arizona and temperatures will drop a little bit. we are talking just a few degrees. the seven-day forecast will show there's
