there is a live look actually on the approach to the dublin interchange which looks okay at this hour. livermore valley not seeing the usual congestion yet. give it another half-hour, hour and that will be a different story but for right now it's only 15 minutes from the altamont pass to the dublin interchange. 880 in oakland is fine near the oakland coliseum and airport. it's farther south where again we were seeing some delays just a short while ago. they had both directions blocked at least various lanes blocked approaching marina boulevard and even earlier this morning they also had some overnight roadwork in hayward. so yeah, 880 has been a hot spot for roadwork in the overnight hours. here's a live look at the san mateo bridge. free and clear both directions no big issues. you will still find that overnight roadwork especially eastbound from foster city to clawiter. they have been doing it for a while now. it is scheduled until 11:00 but we haven't seen much of a delay especially at this hour. it is counter-commute. and here's a live look at the richmond/san rafael bridge. just

i also encountered some over the dublin grade early this morning. spring-like temperatures once again today. averaging a good 10 degrees above normal and we're looking at some very light precipitation entering the bay area on friday and saturday. satellite imagery indicates that the clouds are on the increase and they are sweeping down from the north to the south. it will become partly cloudy later this afternoon. we do have this very dry cold front to the north of the bay area. and as it skims across the california coastline we'll see some precipitation but generally less than a .25" between friday and on saturday in the wettest locations. mid-60s in monterey bay. hey, it's partly cloudy in the greater lake tahoe area today but if you are heading there for the weekend make sure you have the chains. we have some light snow in the forecast from friday all the way through sunday. mid-60s in fresno through merced. our numbers again 68 degrees in san francisco. typical is 61. oakland should be right around 62 but instead 72 degrees. yesterday we had 70 i

i want to show you able to way through the dublin area, dublin grade, really on to the castro valleyy. everything is moving fine. so the latest drive time is, ta- da! still in the green. 16 minutes you can see those yellow sensors popping up. even though it hasn't affected the drive time yet, you will hit some pockets of slowing as you make your way through the altamont. here's a live look at highway 4. very busy this morning. got busy earlier and you can see it really bottlenecking between hillcrest and "a" street 31 miles per hour. once you get past all that once you get past antioch, though, everything is fine in pittsburg- bay point. bay bridge toll plaza you know, we had a line -- several cars deep, maybe a good dozen cars deep right there in one of the cash lanes. not the case any longer. so this is kind of the pre-metering lights pattern. no roadwork it's been cleared so this is a great time to head into san francisco. if you are crossing the san mateo bridge anytime soon, you shouldn't hit much of a snag. this is westbound 92 looking great out of hayward. eastbound 92 the roa
