the fires are burning off of highway 20 east of clear lake. ten miles apart. triple-digit temperatures are aggravating the already dry conditions. the fire is estimated to be 25% contained tonight. the walker fire 35% contained. 35 homes are evacuated at this hour and three buildings have been destroyed. investigators are still trying to determine the cause of both fires xwl detectives are interviewing witnesses and searching for a gunman after the city's 25th homicide of the year. the deadly shooting happened this afternoon just before 2:00 p.m. when a man found a -- when officers found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound in a car on charles street. that's near the interchange between 101 and 880. that man was pronounced dead at the scene. investigators say he was the only person in the car. so far no arrests have been made. >> speeding and drinking, authorities believe that's what caused two teenage drivers to lose control of their cars and end up slamming into two homes in one saratoga neighborhood. the accident happened at intersection of south
