you can the spot shaded in orange here looking at some very hot temperatures in parts of the north bay into the east and the valleys and over the mountain tops down the south bay, the santa clara valley as well. that's where we're expecting the real hot temperatures along the coastline. really not much change. you can see those temperatures over the weekend, maybe as much as 40 degrees cooler out of the beach with low clouds and fog and enough of a sea breeze to keep those temperatures much, much cooler. alright, forecast highs for tomorrow. look how they break down the coastline. you're in the 50's and the 60's. well, you get in the east bay. how about that? 103 degrees in little more. maybe 103 in concord, 103 in antioch. then you get inside the bay pretty comfortable. it's a warm day but not too bad. upper 80's in the san jose 83 redwood city about 78 degrees in oakland. looks like the pattern, though, right now setting up to be hot. we're sitting at 100 degrees right now in vacaville. they got 98 degrees in fairfield. 97 in pittsburgh. you get the idea these temperatures hot inland, but you get

dozens of fires all around the east bay, almost all four corners of the bay had their own neighborhood light shows even when we were driving around the east bay, we noticed some pockets of neighborhood fireworks going off in the early hours of the morning. this is prompting safety concerns. this grass fire in walnut creek started around 10:00 p.m. at the current location where we are at. it did not prompt evacuation orders. this was the perspective from the oakland hills, all of those unsanctioned fireworks exploding across the east bay. this went on for hours before the sunset last night. it was not just one location but several where people were lighting off fireworks in the middle of the streets. berkeley closed grizzly peak due to fire concerns yesterday. emergency crews stay there posted to keep people from entering. that has now reopened. contra costa fire responded to 58 fires overnight. 50 of them they believe were caused by fireworks. one person was critically injured in one of those incidents so, a lot of safety concerns from these overnight fireworks. we are live in the east

the shooter this morning. back here in the bay area in the east bay. all lanes are back open after a fatal crash early this morning in concord. the crash happened on southbound highway 2.40 to near the concord avenue off-ramp shortly before 02:00am the contra costa county coroner's office was called to the scene. the cause of the crash is under investigation. a man is recovering the day. this today accuse me this morning after he was found shot in san francisco's russian hill neighborhood saturday night. police found him around 10 in the area of grant avenue in pacific street near broadway. he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. police are asking anyone with information to please get in touch. in the north. a suspicious death investigation is underway after a woman's body is found in a motel room. police say they found the body saturday morning at the gateway inn in fairfield. she's only being identified as a 25 year-old. the cause of the death is under investigation. attempted robbery in san francisco led to a shooting that le

the north bay a bit. this is the shot from the east bay shoreline. you can see nice blue skies, little bit of haze off to the distance in a little marine layer. that's a little thicker than yesterday's was. that will help out too. golden gate bridge shot is also clear at this hour as well. so up in the north bay, again, we had a couple of stray showers, work their magic a touch, but they're actually holding together more route reno and that too. we'll clear out this afternoon. but the current temperatures are already pretty lofty at this hour as we see mid 70's going on. well, east. meanwhile, on the east bay shoreline, 60's 63 for san francisco. 72. meanwhile, 4 san jose and that contrast, we're catching up a little bit now. couple areas are trailing right now. strangely enough, negative for, for example, livermore in fairfield and negative 09:00am sure no complaints by 1 o'clock will be at 90. we're looking at 91 by 4 o'clock with some of those far east bay reaches getting into the mid 90's. still again, coming up in a bit, we'll take a look longer

it is up in the north bay, in the mountains in the east bay and the hills and also in the valleys and then in parts of east earn and central santa clara county. so really, essentially, if you're not at the coaster right directly around the bay, you're into this. and as you can see, not just us, but all of california just about dealing with you can see some of those excessive heat warnings in the areas in pink as well. they go into nevada and right parts of the country. but here's the thing. we are warming up already in the inner east bay. expecting to see the highest numbers. you can see fairfield concord up 10 degrees already 9 in nevada. the only spot that's a little cooler. san francisco by just one gives you an indication that we're going to be warm today and certainly you see that as we look on the map, morgan hill, rd at 86 degrees. 85 in fremont. we're in the 90's in dublin and livermore. take a look at fairfield. my goodness already. 95 degrees 60 in downtown san francisco heading up to the north bay, a little more moderate, but still, 87 degrees already petaluma at this hour
