you see it over the east bay hills. now and headed further inland, really deep. and so that really knocked these temperatures down drastically almost 80 degrees just 2 days ago in san francisco today, we came in at 62 below the average 69 degrees in oakland. 79 still nice and san jose. and then remember livermore yesterday they had a high of 100 to actually set a record yesterday and live more today. 22 degrees cooler at 80 degrees. 69 was all they can get to in concord. 63 degrees in santa rosa. get the idea these temperatures really knocked down by that ocean air as a push well on shore. and you see the effects now you've got 60's well inland, one of the warmer spots, 78 degrees still in brentwood, but otherwise keeping those temperatures way down from we've seen recently onshore winds continuing to blow. they'll bring more fog and low clouds tonight. watch out for some more drizzle and cool temperatures again, especially near the coast. tonight's the night, at least that's what a nation is hoping for. for the worriers. they are back at home in san francisco at

really, it's going to be battling over the east bay hills to get to the east bay shoreline. so that may act as little bit of a blocking mechanism for the air mass to. but as you turn the other direction, this is would be if you're looking at this over your shoulder behind, you would be we're all that action is to the west. very clear. we can see from this vantage point and there's the east bay shoreline. nice lit up winds, though they are on shore as well, at least at the surface. what's going on here back to future cast for a does note those thunder showers there, although it shows a little bit later development when you tend to get this, they're almost like air mass thunder showers, although this is being generated by system when you tend to get them earlier in the day like that, that sometimes suck some energy out of the atmosphere a kind of break up the cell a little bit by the latter afternoon because we haven't reached our maximum heating for the day. it's kind of robbing that area locally of the daytime heating. this is what happens to everybody by late tonight. as yo

my recommendation is due a hike right along the east bay shoreline into the east bay hills or up acrossmperatures will be solidly in the 70's for many of the spots. lots of sunshine and just a really enjoyable day. we are going to be the midst of some strong winds at the coast in on through the delta yet again, a little calmer along the bay shore, which will have some of her most comfortable numbers. we do have a big catch to today and that does involve the winds up being fire danger in a red flag warning that goes into effect 11:00am for the solano county area as well as across the central valley. it's a pairing of the winds and humidity dropping really low. temperatures will be on the rise the next several days today. we're still staying relatively cool. pretty similar as to where we were over the weekend. tomorrow temperatures will begin to climb back into the 80's for many spots. and by wednesday, our hottest day of the forecast. it is a short-lived spike in temperatures. those will cool right back down on into next weekend after this midweek jupp. so today very similar to yesterday
