there is no whitewash to pretend the events didn't happen in embarcadero. the issues of ceqa, if the events caused the building to be historic and those events happened all around embarcadero. wouldn't those similar buildings be historic. i think that defeats the historian guidelines for the ceqa and historic determination. you have to show there are facts supporting that. here, the department concluded based again and not just on their own evaluation but on the independent evaluation who also did the evaluation in 2009 and found the building was a historic resource based on the events. the difference between 2009 and today and why nobody thought about the embarcadero facade is the building was going to be demolished. that puts the entire category in another consideration. but today it formed the bases for historic preservation, that is being preserved when thinking in the more common situation if the basic historic preservation with contact with associations. i'm hoping that again, if you look at the facts and i can read them but they are in our letter and

so be careful. >> right at the embarcadero we had water lapping onshore yesterday, as well. so with the king tides, official high tide is at 10:38 this morning nearly at 7 feet. and when it goes low, boy, does it ever! check that out at 4:16. that's where we have a couple of boaters that were stuck in the low tide in alviso back in earlier january. so again, travel with caution with this last round of king tides. good morning, everybody. currently we have gray skies. the marine layer is 3,000 feet deep. temperatures in the 50s. the big problem is trying to forecast when the marine layer is going to burn off. we are expecting some partial clearing today. 60 in pacifica. as you look at these temperatures, everybody was talking about how cool it was yesterday. it's relative. when you see the temperatures in the 70s and 80s as we head over the weekend, these temperatures feel cool but they are where they should be for this time of the year at 67 degrees in livermore and right around the 50s and 60s in the north bay. warmest temperatures will be upstream in lakeport at 71 degrees.

of the embarcadero. and then lastly i wanted to mention some news about one of our long, long-term tenants, frank sabella: frank sabella was born in 1912, one of 12 children born on francisco street right across from the port, to his parents and he had long been the owner of sabella and latora restaurant on fisherman's wharf. they serve lunch and dinner and also has a crab stand that sells calimari, among other things. he was born in 1927 right in the roaring 20's period and frank acquired it right after world war ii and ran it for many many years. it's now being run by the fourth generation of sabellas, which is very exciting. in january, frank sabella passed away at the amazing age of 102, which just goes to show that you eating crab is really really good for your health and crab with san francisco sour dough is even better for all of you who are conscious of your carbs, knock it off. so we want to celebrate his life and his legacy at the port of san francisco and i would ask you to consider adjourning
