the real hotel. they support expansion. recognize the benefits to the city, providing greater access to the incredible collection and the economic benefits. we value our relationship with the museum and to want to see if thrive. because they are such close neighbors, and guests of the hotel will experience the impact of the project more than most. we want to ensure that all impact are mitigated to the extent feasible. good city planning demands this. we will be submitting written comments, but i want to highlight some of our concerns now. the draft is inefficient in a couple of areas. like traffic during the two- year period, the height and design of the expansion. first, traffic. a substantial amount of loading occurs in the museum and the existing fire station. there is no discussion, but what happens when that area is closed off? and all of that traffic is forced through third street? as you know, these are vital corridors for traffic moving across the city. they are already very congested, particularly during the commute

the expansion of the available labor force creates opportunities that did not exist before. you have innovation and entrepreneurialism that increases the actual size of small and medium-sized businesses. they consume and that expands the demand curve. you have a dynamic economy for 90% of u.s. born workers that enhances their wages. the other 9% got whacked up side the head with globalization and immigration and everything you can list and they need help. getting rid of immigrants doesn't really help them. the final point is if you look at the last 15 years, 25% of publicly traded companies in the united states are essentially from the bay area region and one out of four was started by an immigrant. we have great data on this because it's all transparent. you can look it up. you can tabulate it. it's all a list of companies that we own, from google to intel, we know these companies. here is what you don't know but you kind of know if you just look around. in the next two years, we'll have much better data on. that is at the small and medium sized, it turns out that same disp

the most remarkable change is the rapid expansion in the services sectors.the share of output in the services sector have increased in every single country. but it's more remarkable the increase in the share of employment in the services sector which countries like argentina, brazil and chile has been on the double digits. to give you an example, the share of employment in argentina has increased by 13 percentage points between the year 1990 and the year 2005. well, the changes in the structure of the economy could mean anything, and they could be positive changes as the incretion in production and employment in the services sector have greater productivity but it's just the opposite. output of workers in the services sector have declined and is much lower than in the manufacturing sector and in the mining sector. so the decline in just put per worker in the services sector has affected overall aggregate productivity in latin america, and this is an unintended side effect of the primaryization or col nicization of latin america. now, -- coliniization of lati
