the right side. san mateo bridge clear out of hayward into foster city. a look at the golden gate bridge in just a few minutes. >>> breaking news now in the south bay. three people are dead after a car crash in east san jose overnight. kpix 5's keit do is live at the scene with details. >> reporter: good morning. -- >> reporter: good morning. a lot of broken glass and metal on the street in downtown san jose. crime scene crews are busy scrub the asphalt and picking up the pieces. around 11:00 last night, witnesses told police two cars were racing on santa clara at 22nd street. if you look closely, you can see that bent streetlight pole on the sidewalk. one of the cars a honda civic lost control and struck that pole and then hit a tree right in front of the santa clara county mental health department building. the other car kept on going. two people died on scene. the third person died at the hospital. the victims were two men and one woman. a fourth person a man is in critical condition. so all told, three people dead one injured critically. police say all
