they hired a consulting firm to run a study on activity along the golden gate. ons from the study came out last year, including. allowing city electronic bikes on the golden gate bridge, adding more signs to specify where bicyclists and walkers should be to avoid collisions and making an official speed limit at 15 mph that seems really difficult to enforce. how can i have? uh, i think that. getting bikers to go a certain speed. um when you know they're itching to get across is going to be hard. people who are not very experienced can actually travel pretty quickly and have a lot of speed and you know, speed and experience and the bridge are dangerous combination. the district will hold a meeting tomorrow morning to review these ideas and hear from the public one last time. before they move forward with recommendations. a spokesperson for the district says they could start implementing changes by november. if you'd like to be part of this process and throwing your input with any questions, comments or concerns. you can do so by sending an email to the district tha

sandra fell bridge in the golden gate bridge i say brief. and i mean it because we are going to see rainfall kicking back up in these areas. we're still in the midst of this resurgence of rain. as you can see from the west, there's a lot of activity still yet to push in from the pacific on the peninsula. some widespread light to moderate showers right now is actually quieted down for areas like san mateo, which saw our heaviest of rainfall around 30 minutes to an hour ago. a lot of that energy has surged out into the east bay. now, as you can see, especially along 6.80 from concord through walnut creek down through san ramon on into the 5 8682 junction just around pleasanton dublin on towards to know is where we are seeing some of those heavier pockets of rain fall. also 5 80's. not looking so great nor is 80 this morning right along the east bay shoreline i'm actually going to time out some of these heavier showers right here that are working their way right across the east bay because for some of us further to the east in the tri valley and
