more than 750 trees fell in the city stretching from the embarcadero to golden gate park parks all around the city, lost trees because of the wind and ground oversaturated by all of the ongoing storms public works. crews are working around the clock responding to a high priority areas. first trees are on roads or wires or cars, buildings. >> those got the most attention right away. with winds like that. it's very hard for some weaker trees to withstand that. and if the ground is saturated, it makes it even more difficult for them to to withstand that. >> in the east bay, the richmond fire department says it responded to roughly 100 calls during the storm, including a called this church where the steeple was blown off. the department says most of the incidents that responded to did not involved injuries. it was mostly property damage. several trees at the open zoo also fell down from the storm. one of those trees fell onto the zoos, new aviary tearing into the mash. the zoo says no animals were hurt, but some animals were taken to the zoo's that hospitals. 6 birds flew through that torn op

and now you're looking at views like this is you face towards the coast golden gate park and are somee sunshine. still a few clouds out there and watching closely. but overall, we're seeing conditions coming down for a lot of us at this point. so we do see a line of showers up in the north bay going to start with this one stretching right here from marin county arrive over towards ville, a hole into fairfield. a couple pockets of heavier rainfall. there. still a little rain. snow mix up in northern sonoma and napa counties and some snow in lake county. most of our heavier rain pose moved out into the central valley. now, as for the south bay, we've seen a few light showers. it's been our comments for the santa clara valley. you do have some snow up in mount hamilton and a few upper elevations in the santa cruz mountains. now today gets calmer into the afternoon, especially early afternoon. get out there for a bit. enjoy some sunshine. we are going to see some pockets of rain for the north bay in our inland areas. but most of the bay area's going to get a nice break from it after 05:00
