officers are making their way inside the funeral home. a gunman killed officer lui and his partner rafael ramos last month while they were sitting in their patrol car. matt delucia is live where the local officers boarded buses to make the trip to new york. they tell you that being in new york today is a matter of respect. >> reporter: it's a difficult trip for sure considering some of these officers were at another funeral last saturday. about 80 officers from the philadelphia police department got on two buses and went to new york city once again for officer wenjian liu's memorial service. some of tease guys went to the funeral last week for officer rafael ramos. there were so many police in attendance then that officers from our area were there to line up along the procession route from the church to the cemetery. the police had turned their backs on the mayor. i talked with the officers here about that. they said they did not follow along with that and they tell me it's an unfortunate situation, but they don't feel that discord here in philade
