you know, you've got control of the white house and the senate. you've got control of the house. and you haven't passed a single appropriations bill. i mean, how are we supposed to run our business if we will not do our normal work and pass a budget and pass the 12 appropriations bills? the feders operating under the second continuing resolution under this fiscal year. one-third is date of birth through discretionary appropriations. that means 2/3 comes through on auto pile on the and the amount we are going to control, one-third of the federal budget, we haven't done our work and we are paying for trillions of dollars in spending and the democrats won't fund through regular appropriations. and that comes through at a cost. it is very difficult to get a phone call answered by a federal agency, by the head of a federal agency, by a cabinet secretary because we no longer make the appropriations and these folks are relatively new and they have no history of knowing they have to come to congress to get their appropriations bills passed and they basically ignore the congress. democrats
