it was the fifth annual surf city surf dog competition in huntington beach, california. canines get on surfboards....wit h a human companion....and surf in the pacific ocean. the competitors were divided into four weight- classes and the winners were judged by a variety of skills, including the duration of their ride and their confidence on the board. at least the dogs seemed to be having a better time doing this. you could call it one giant outdoor bathtub. what this rubber ducky was doing floating in the allegheny river. thousands of thousands of people were standing shoulder to shoulder in pittsburgh this weekend and it was all to see this. floating under the clemente bridge in the allegheny river was a 40-foot tall rubber duck. many were seen clicking away ... sending photos to social media ... putting the city of steel in the international spotlight. mos says: "oh, it's great! oh my god, i'm so...i can't believe that..." hofman says: "it's not a gimmick. it's funny and it's a project that's about joy and happiness and it's about connecting people all over the globe."
