the northbound lanes after 9:00 p.m. according to police, a school bus driver from huntington valley christian academy was at the light when a 2000 mercedes slammed into the back of it and went underneath the bus, the mercedes burst into flames, both people inside died. the driver was not injured. >> two of the witnesses were off duty police officers that worked together in the same district and they in a vehicle together and they both witnessed the accident. they were traveling northbound on roosevelt boulevard and they witnessed the entire accident and they saw that this mercedes prior to crash into the school bus was driving at a high rate of speed. >> reporter: and the impact was so intense, police say they were not able to identify what type of vehicle was until they ran the tags on the plate. at this time they have not released identity of the two people that were in the vehicle. reporting live in the northeast, annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." tam, back to you. >> new this morning, firefighters pulled one person from a burning home in south jersey, this is viewer video of the flames on the 300 block of cross
